Climate change is reshaping the planetwith new records of storms, heatwaves, and hot and cold emergencies.
European scientists have revealed that October 2023 has become the hottest month in human history putting the world on track to break all records of warm, cool, and uneven weather.
EU’s climate observer, the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S), calculated that October was 0.4 degrees Celsius hotter than the heat recorded in 2019.
“When we combine our data with the IPCC [Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change], then we can say that this is the warmest year for the last 125,000 years,” said Samantha Burgess, Deputy Director of the C3S’s. Copernicus was founded in 1940 to monitor weather in Europe.
According to scientists, climate change is mostly driven by the emission of greenhouse gases and industrial pollution that is poured into the atmosphere every minute. The burning of fossil fuels is the main sources of greenhouse emissions that is heating up the planet and stopping the natural system from regulating the health system and insolation of the planet Earth.
No point the planet Earth is spared:
Al-Jazeera quoted a study published in September as saying that heat has beaten previous records and found that 2022 brought the most intense heatwaves in human history in Antarctica which is the coolest point on Earth.
Hemisphere’s winters and springs encountered uneven and unusual weather changes, specifically in South American countries such as Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia and Paraguay suffered from boiling temperatures of more than 40C. This type of heatwaves might become a routine shortly. “The amount that we’re smashing records by is shocking,” Burgess revealed.
Extreme heatwaves can adversely affect the world and might shape human life with dehydration, skin diseases, eye problems, cancer, lung diseases, cardiovascular complications and other uncommon and unseen issues.
Climate change is slowing down the growth of forestation and natural mechanisms to clear impurities from the air thus speeding up the irreparable destruction to the only inhabitable planet in the universe. According to alarming studies, icebergs on the south and north poles of the planet have started melting. Antarctica is melting into oceans, rising sea levels, and causing unusual storms and weather changes.
The world forums such as the UN Agency for Climate Change have been arranging summits of the world powers and industrial giants. The planet Earth is facing a threat of elimination due to the irresponsible behavior of these powers by avoiding and ignoring the realities of elimination being faced by the human race due to their anti-natural production and systematic destruction to the natural eco-system.
